RUKUNGIRI– The Police in Rukungiri is holding a 48 years old Woman on attempted murder case.
Elly Maate the Kigezi Region police spokesperson has identified the suspect as Kobusigye Milly.
It’s alleged that on 10th November, 2021 at around 1pm, Tugumisiriza Benon (victim) aged around 45 years, business man and a resident of Bikurungu town cell, Central Ward, Bikurungu town council in Rukungiri district got involved in domestic quarrel with his wife one Kobusingye Milly aged around 40 years old on long due allegations that the victim had married the second wife.
As the victim was sleeping, the suspect (wife to the Victim) decided to cut the private part(Penis) of the husband and took off to her hideout Kabale.
After commiting the above offence, Kobusingye escaped and today she was arrested from her hideout in Kabale town.
Maate says she is currently being interrogated at Rukungiri Central Police Station.

Upon completion, she will later be arraigned before the courts of law on attempted murder case under Reference number SD 07/10/11/2021.
