Uganda Nursing School Bwindi Girls team wins National Health training institutions football trophy

FORTPORTAL– The  Kanungu District based Uganda Nursing School Bwindi on Saturday 03rd September 2022 were crowned national Girls football champions in the 2022 National inter health training institutions games and sports that are taking place in Fort portal City.

Uganda Nursing school Bwindi girls football team played  Ngora school of Nursing and midwifery played at finals and the match ended in a one goal draw where Ngora lost to Bwindi by 4 to 3.

Ngora school of nursing and midwifery is found in Ngora District Teso region North Eastern Uganda.

On 17th August, 2022, Uganda nursing school Bwindi was also crowned as the overall  champions of South Western Inter Health Institutions games and sports having performed well in different games and won trophies including football for both male and female, netball boys and girls, volleyball boys, scrabble boys and girls, chess boys and girls 

Relatedly the school has so far also won ten medals in the ongoing games including 8 bronzes and 2 silvers.

These medals are silver for 12 laps by ladies, silver for 2 laps ladies, bronze for 1500 metres ladies, bronze for 25 laps men, and bronze in Javelin ladies among other medals.

The school administrators have thanked everyone who supported them, a gesture that has made their school National Champions for girls football.
