MITOOMA– Youths have been advised to engage in productive projects if they want to have brighter futures.
This was sounded by Hon Agasha Juliet Bashisha the Mitooma district woman Member of Parliament who was speaking at Bubangizi play ground in Kashenshero at the Ruhinda Masaza cup finals.
The final game that was between Ruhinda Central and Ruhinda South counties ended in a one goal draw in normal time and Ruhinda central won with 5-4 on penalty shoot outs.
Hon Agasha Juliet thanked the youths for engaging in sports and advised them to start up income generating projects to always keep themselves busy.
She contributed Ugx 2M towards the construction of district playground, Ugx 500,000 to the district Football Association.
Other leaders present were Hon Maj General Kahinda Otafiire who gave a bull to the winning team and Ugx 300,000 to the best goal keeper as well as Ugx 1 million to the first runners up.
