NTUNGAMO– Believers have been argued to respect and honor their aging parents if they are to get blessing from God.
This was said by Rev Fr John Baptist Tumusiime the parish priest Sacred Heart Ntungamo Town catholic during a requiem Mass to commemorate the life of Federesi Zebikiire Kyampiga the mother to mayor Ntungamo Municipality Jacob Kafureeka at the Sacred Heart Ntungamo.
Rev Fr Tumusiime applauded the late Federesi Zebikiire Kyampiga for being a strong pillar of St Joseph’s Itojo catholic church and who served Lord wholeheartedly.
The mayor Ntungamo Multiplicity Jacob Kafureeka alias Jack Jex who represented all children hailed their mother for nurturing and educating them leadership skills which enabled them to sail through various portfolios.
The former Ntungamo Municipality MP Hon Gerald Karuhanga who is also a grandson thanked their grandmother for serving the church and who was lovely.
The deputy speaker Ntungamo district Asimire Hope Turyahikayo asked the mourners to love one another reminding them that no one is permanent in the World.
The late Federesi Zebikiire Kyampiga aged 88 years left children, 29 grandchildren ,18 great grandchildren and she will be buried tomorrow in her ancestral home in Itojo sub county Ruhaama county.
