SPORT- Gable Vocational Institute and Kanyinya Vocational Institute have thronged the finals of Doctors Case Medicals Rukungiri Corporate Women’s day football tournament.
Gables Vocational Institute thumped Nyakibale ladies Vocational institute by three goals to nil as Kanyinya Vocational Institute defeated London Vocational Institute by a Goal to nil both matches played at Rukungiri Main Stadium.
The final game will be played at St. Gerards Secondary School Playground in Southern Division, Rukungiri Municipality on Wednesday March 8th 2023 on International Women’s day.
According to Dr. Asaph Byamugisha the Doctors Case Medicals Director, the tournament has so far moved safely without any hindrance and that cases of indiscipline have been minimal.
It should be remembered that the event is incorporated with a Women’s week where several services are offered to women at a subsidised cost.
Doctors Case Women’s Corporate football league is one among other activities they will conduct during the Women’s day together with activities including blood donation where they are targeting to collect 200 units of blood, women’s week Health/medical camp, breast cancer screening, infertility and other gynaecological issues.
