Rt Hon Among said that as the Parliament of Uganda, they have answered the cries of the people and the law will protect the sanctity of family as per the Constitutionof Uganda.

She said that Parliament has stood strong to defend Uganda’s culture and aspirations of the people as per objectives 19 & 24 of natinal objectives and directive principles of state policy, but veteran journalist and political analyst, Andrew Mwenda, recently joined rights activists who threatened to challenge the law in court once President Museveni signs it.
