Security guard kills himself by shooting

NEWS– The Police in Kampala Metropolitan Area are investigating circumstances under which an undintified security guard shot himself dead.

Information obtained by our reporter indicates that the security guard shot himself dead at Mukwasi House, Lumumba Avenue on Thursday 18th May, 2023.

The police have taken his body to Mulago Hospital mortuary for a postmortem examination.

The incident comes at a time when the country is battling a series of gun violence incidents. 

It Shouuld be remembered that days ago, a number of people including Minister Engola, Indian money lender on Parliamentary Avenue among others lost lives to bullets.
