Mbarara man kills biological son in domestic brawl

NEWS- The Police in Mbarara district is investigating the circumstances that led to the murder of a 2 years and 6 months old baby Mucunguzi resident of Rubaare cell Bitsya ward, Rubindi-Ruhumba Town Council in Mbarara district by his biological father Kamukama Bossa 25, a peasant resident of the same area.

According to SP Samson Kasasira, the Rwizi Region spokesperson, the suspect chased the wife in the month of August this year and their two children remained with their grandparents who had been looking after them.

It was until on Tuesday 12^th September 2023 when the suspect collected two children to spend time with them but at around 11pm, the suspect started making an alarm seeking for help from the neighbors that his son had died in his sleep but never bothered to inform his mother who stays a few metres from his house and has since been on the run.

The motive of the act has not been established but inquiries into the matter are still ongoing.
