NMS speaks out about the Entebbe Fire

NEWS- The National Medical Stores has called for calm following the fire that gutted a Warehouse in Entebbe near the Airport. 

The National Medical Stores Principal Public Relations Officer Ms Sheilla Nduhukire  has issued a statement indicating that one of the private warehouses that National Medical Stores rented for storing mosquito nets in Entebbe was burnt.

Ms Nduhukire disclosed that the Emergency Fire Services was promptly informed and firefighters arrived to extinguish the fire.

National Medical Stores thanked the Uganda Police Fire Brigade and the Aerodrome Rescue and Fire Fighting Services for their swift response and professionalism as they put out the fire.

She however said that despite the fire breakout, National Medical Stores has already activated their business continuity plan to ensure that there is uninterrupted supply of mosquito nets across the country because they were comprehensively insured to minimise any unexpected loss.
