Rubirizi men shun family responsibilities to women

RUBIRIZI- The Bishop of West Ankole diocese Rt. Rev Johnson Twinomujuni has asked Christian’s to love themselves irrespective of their religious differences.

Bishop Johnson said this during the Confirmation Service of Christians at Rugando Archdeaconry, Katerera constituency in Rubirizi District where a total of 490 Christians were confirmed into the Anglican faith.

Mama Joy Twinomujuni who was the guest preacher and main celebrant advised the Youths and parents to always pray to God instead of spending most of their time in bars or bad peer groups.

She urged Parents to nurture their children following Jesus’ exemplary way.

Meanwhile, Hon Aisha Katoto who was representing Hon. Muhammad Katoto said men have left responsibilities to women in families which have led to poverty in homes.

Mrs. Katoto wants men to work together with their wives to develop their families and to desist from acts of domestic violence that has led to the break up of many families.

Rev. Joab Akankunda, the Archdeacon of Rugando Archdeaconry in Katerera called upon All Christians to support Churches to start up projects like schools, hospitals as this will develop communities through job creation.
