Sheema residents excited as PDM funds are disbursed in their area

NEWS- Parish development model Sacco Committee members of Rugarama parish in Rugarama sub-county, Sheema District have disbursed Ugx 100M to 106 beneficiaries. 

This is according to Mugarura Robert the Rugarama Parish development model chairperson.

While disbursing another phase, Mugarura noted that in the first phase a total of 31 members benefited and another 75 members received Ugx 1million each as this will help them to get out of poverty. 

He warned those who received the money to use it to its intended purpose since it will be paid back after a period of two years. 

Some of the beneficiaries who received the funds hailed the government for the initiative and promised to use it for its intended use.

Meanwhile, Bakasherura Henry an IT officer for Sheema district said that to stop the issues concerning capturing People’s data, the district has resolved to meet people in their respective villages to speed up the program progress.
